๐ŸŒฟ Bluebells - did you know? ๐ŸŒฟ

When you go visit please remember not to stand on the flowers. It takes them 4 years to recover. As a protected species, it's also illegal to pick them.

Enjoy the beauty, take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints (not on the flowers mind!).

"It is important to avoid accidently damaging the plants with your camera equipment, or your feet. When plants are trampled, not only does this reduce the enjoyment of others, also the bluebell bulbs canโ€™t produce enough energy to survive and to flower the following year, so they die. We recently visited the woods and strategically stood around the bluebells and explained to my sons that they are a protected flower and why its so important to protect nature ๐ŸŒฟ
