Cherishing Moments: A Farewell to Greece (For Now!)

There are some trips that just hit different, aren't there?

This recent holiday was exactly that for me – arriving at a time in my life when a true escape was needed the most. And what an escape it was!

Spending quality moments and making incredible memories with my family is what genuinely fills my heart with so much joy. From the laughter to the quiet shared glances, these are the treasures we'll hold onto long after the tans fade.

It's always tough to say goodbye to a place that has captured your heart, and leaving behind such a beautiful destination certainly tugs at the emotions. But there's a strong feeling this won't be our last visit. Call it a hunch, or perhaps it's just in the boys' genes – and I suspect it's in mine too!

Oh, the things we'll miss! The unique "melon man" wake-up call, the perfect Good Morning coffee, the feel of Kavalan sand between our toes, and those fresh, vibrant Greek Salads. We'll long for the consistently warm temperatures and skies free of grey. And honestly, so much more.

Greece, you've etched a special place in our hearts. As the saying goes, "Collect moments not things," and we've certainly collected a lifetime of beautiful moments on this trip. Until next time, your sun-drenched shores and warm embrace will be fondly remembered.
